So yesterday, I was winding down the forcing with my tulpa, just saying stuff to her about what we were going to do today, then I had this feeling in my chest, it was weird because nothing I was doing could have triggered this, it felt really unusual. It felt like happiness with a little excitement. It kinda pulsed if that makes sense.

This wasn't anything I triggered because I don't know how I could have done that. Would this be alien emotions from my tulpa?
It certainly couldn't hurt to assume that it at least could be, and try to... force "to" that feeling (not to your chest, but to the idea of that feeling).
@Blitzeen I wasn't around yet but when the others first started switching, I mean like the very first week only, they were really aware of all the body's senses and liked feeling textures and looking at patterns and stuff

oh also they got tired really fast, and that tiredness went away if they switched back with lumi
6:35 AM
took somewhere between a few weeks and a couple months before they could front all day without getting physically/mentally? tired, and when we hit that point we could all just front consecutive days fine
6:36 AM
I've fronted for over 2 months straight before lol
irish and faq_man's guides are pretty solid even if they're a bit outdated to today's standards, ie timeframes. Everything within those guides have stood the test of time despite that.
Hey, I was wondering, do you need a certain number of personality traits to give your tulpa when you start forcing, or can you also just go along with whatever feels best? When I'm going to start forcing, I want to do it right...
There isn't really a "right" way to go about this, but if you're doing personality work you don't need to have a specific number of traits. Just keep building on your tulpa's personality until you have a decent grasp on what you want it to be.
There are ways to do it in which you sort of throw a bunch of personality traits around and try to think about how such a person would work, and usually you are using too many and some are ejected as they wouldn't make too much sense. Then others will naturally form in the gaps where a fully developed personality would have them. I do think "overdoing it" can lead to interesting results, but applying the opposite strategy might end up being the quickest as far as I've observed (potential bias there as more "overdone" tulpas tend to be the first ones)
In general, the "traits" and the words associated with them become more meaningless as they don't adequately summarize the personality involved. At that point, any list of traits is going to feel like some inaccurate oversimplification
